Sony Highly Recommends Data Installation for Gran Turismo 5

Everyone knows that there is an optional data installation in Gran Turismo 5, but according to Sony, downloading it is highly recommended.

Upon downloading the first patch and starting the game, a prompt will be displayed on the screen asking players if they wish to install the data. An approximate of 8GB worth of data is required to download half of the game’s data. Installing it will reduce the load times, and stream the game more smoothly. Before downloading it, make sure that you have at least thirty minutes to download the data.
