New details of the upcoming Red Dead Redemption DLC Pack Undead Nightmare explain both ways to purchase it. The pack which adds hours of brand new single-player storyline and multiplayer content will be available via either download or retail format.
The Undead Nightmare Pack will of course be downloadable from both the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network Store for 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99/£7.99 respectively. To download the DLC requires the retail version of Red Dead Redemption to play but there is another way which does not require a copy of Red Dead Redemption to play.
Rockstar will be releasing the Red Dead Redemption equivalent of GTA IV Episodes in the form of Undead Nightmare. The Undead Nightmare disc is completely stand-alone that bundles: the Undead Nightmare Pack, the Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack, the Legends and Killers Pack, the Liars and Cheats Pack and all the Multiplayer Free Roam modes released to date, into one disc. Undead Nightmare will not require a Red Dead Redemption disc to play and will cost $29.99/£24.99.
If you want to stop the reawakening of the dead and find a cure for the hoards of zombies the DLC and disc will be released on October the 26th for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
