Activision is pleased to confirm today that the Zombies mode that we all love from World at War will be appearing in Black Ops that is scheduled for release this November 9th.
“Zombies have been such a hit with our community that we were committed to bringing brand new zombie experiences to Call of Duty: Black Ops,” says Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia. “We’ve taken extra special care to retain the essential ingredients of our Zombie game, and have also crafted a nice surprise for the fans.”
In addition to the great news of Zombies mode, gamers who will be picking up the Prestige and Hardened Edition of Black Ops will be receiving four new co-op maps exclusively for the those two editions.

January 2, 2011 at 7:14 PMIm sorry but BLACK OPS is a step backward. The multiplayer seems like it came out in 2006 and plays much less smoothly or well as Modern Warfare 2. I keep trying to let it grow on me and i hate it more each time i play. The maps all feel the same to me, the weapons response is weird and reminds me of a much older game. The killstreaks are HORRIBLE. Dog Pack!?? SERIOUSLY?!?! And that stupid RC car…i thought it would be cool but when there are 5 roaming around the map at any one time, its just annoying and incredibly stupid.
