Konami announced recently that the latest 3D entry into the Castlevania franchise will be release on October 5.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow follows Gabriel Belmont as he attempts to defeat the Lords of Shadow and find the several pieces of the God Mask so that he can bring his wife back to life, as her soul has been trapped in limbo. Though, the game is supposed to be a reboot of the Castlevania franchise and is not canon within the Castlevania storyline.
Lords of Shadow is being co-developed by MercurySteam and Kojima Productions, the team behind the award winning Metal Gear franchise, and will be available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 5 of this year. Pity it’s about a month before Halloween though. D:
