With The Battle Cats (iOS / Android) popularity continuing to grow, they revealed the next crossover will be with Neon Genesis Evangelion. The event will run from today until Aug. 1, 2019. Sadly, no word was given on whether this event will be exclusive to the Japanese version or not.
In addition to announcing the crossover, two teasers were also released. Both, found above and below, showcase the unusual cats set in the world of Evangelion, along with Yoko Takahashi returning to sing Cruel Angel Thesis with nya ( Japan onomatopoeia for meow) replacing every word.
If you haven’t tried The Battle Cats before, it’s basically a tower defense game where you battle with rather unusual looking cats. The Evangelion event will limited time missions where you fight enemies and designs, set in Tokyo-3.
