God of War PS4’s director, Cory Balrog, made the announcement for the game going gold on his official Twitter account. He posted the following message: “God of War is gold, baby.! Thank you to every wonderful human who worked so hard to make this happen. Neither word nor emoji can express the love i have for you all. ? Next stop, April 20th!!!”
As you can see, the first Blu-ray disc has been pressed which means the game should be distributed worldwide very soon. The game will meets its final release date of April 20th, 2018 exclusively for the PS4 and PS4 Pro consoles.
This new version of the game acts as a reboot, although it’s still a sequel following after the events of God of War 3 which came out way back in 2010. This new game has updated gaming mechanics and some of the best looking graphics ever produced on the PS4.
