Popular Japanese singer, Hikaru Utada, has pretty much been involved with lots of the other Kingdom Hearts video games. Well she could return to sing the Kingdom Hearts 3 according to her father.
Hikaru’s father, Teruzane Utada, teased his daughter’s return to the franchise while replying to a fan on his official Twitter account.
The fan asked Mr. Utada if there is an update on their involvement in the next Kingdom Hearts game. The fan said many people are rooting for his daughter to still be singing the theme song.
Mr. Utada replied with a promising answer. He said: “I can’t say anything yet, but be positive! We won’t break your heart. teruzane” The fact that he doesn’t want to break the heart of a dedicated fan might mean something is in the works…
Kingdom Hearts 3 will be available on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. Sadly, no release window has been announced but Square Enix is sure to give us more details about the game in 2018.
