The Detective Pikachu movie is going in full swing as a major Hollywood actor has signed on for the movie. This actor is none other than Ryan Reynolds most made famous for being Deadpool.

Rob Letterman (Goosebumps) is the director with filming set to commence next month in London.
The story sees Justice Smith’s character father getting kidnapped. Smith’s character has to team up with both Detective Pikachu and Newton’s journalist character to find the missing father.
