It’s been ages since the online servers for the original Star Wars Battlefront 2 were shut off. Well now the online servers will be back if you own the game on PC.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 from 2005 is available now for you to buy on Steam, but previously the online multiplayer was inaccessible. Now you can take the fight online on PC thanks to a new update. Sadly, PS2 or Xbox owners cannot join in on the fun.
The Steam announcement said: “Star Wars fans rejoice! Multiplayer support has returned for Battlefront II. Now you can draft your friends to the 501st legion and join up to 64 other players in a heated online battle for control of the galaxy.”
The new sequel from EA will have its beta on very soon too. Star Wars fans will have to choose which game they want to play this weekl!
