Gamestop has confirmed that customer credit card info may have been stolen. This includes the names and addresses
for customers as well.
Kotaku received an email sent by Gamestop to customers and info may have been breached if you ordered something on their website from ” from August 10, 2016 to February 9, 2017.”
The retailer also left this statement to Kotaku: “GameStop identified and addressed a potential security incident that was related to transactions made on GameStop’s website during a specific period of time. GameStop mailed notification letters to customers who made purchases during that time frame advising them of the incident and providing information on steps they can take“.’
Make sure to contact your bank if you feel any unauthorized purchases have been made on your credit card. Also make sure to change any passwords you may have had on the website.
