While Ubisoft has not officially announced any details on the next Assassin’s Creed video game yet, some juicy rumors have surfaced that could tell us more legit information about the game.
This latest rumor comes courtesy of Liam Robertson (who has been reliable in the past) via a report he posted on WWG. Several sources say this new game is being called Assassin’s Creed Origins and the game will be set in Egypt.
Much like Syndicate, this new game will feature a man and a woman as the two main characters. It is also going to be a huge game with a non-linear open world environment for you to explore. Ubisoft plans to give the player more freedom than ever before.
The part that gets very interesting is that a source tells them that the game also takes place in Greece later on. While you are in Greece, naval battles can occur while you are out in the Mediterranean sea.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is planned to be out for Fall 2017. Hopefully Ubisoft can either confirm or deny these rumors when the game is officially announced. There’s a good chance we may hear more of the game at E3 2017.
