The Hearthstone Global Games tournament has begun, seeing national teams from around the world battling it out.
The Global Games tournament is a live event where Hearthstone players battle to earn a place at the finals later this year. Not only is national glory up for grabs but also a share of the $300,000 prize pool. Hearthstone fans were able to vote to select the players that get the opportunity to play for their countries. A total of 48 nations are represented by teams in the first phase of online matches.
Matches are scheduled to take place each week on Tuesday starting at 09:00 BST, Wednesday starting at 15:00 BST, and Friday starting at 2:00 BST. They are all being livestreamed on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel. The main stream is in English but other languages are also available on other channels.
