The ESRB has now rated Valkyria Revolution on the PS4 and Xbox One platforms. It will give you an idea on some of the content and features that will be included in the full game.
Valkyria Revolution has been rated Teen. The content descriptors are: “Blood, Language, Sexual Themes, Use of Alcohol, Violence“. They rated both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
The rating summary says: “This is an action/role-playing game in which players control soldiers involved in a conflict between two fictional kingdoms. Characters engage in combat missions and use swords, guns, grenades, and magic attacks to defeat soldiers and boss characters. Some attacks result in small splashes of blood; cutscenes occasionally depict larger splashes of blood, as when a character is impaled on a sword or slashed. Battles are highlighted by realistic gunfire, cries of pain, and explosions.
The game includes some sexual material in the dialogue: “She was a real nympho, that one. She was one hell of a sl*t”; “Be it the bouncing of buxom bosoms or the subtle splendor of smaller sets”; “…a woman’s beauty presents itself fully in her rear!” Several scenes depict characters drunk/hung over and/or talking about alcohol (e.g.,“I haven’t had enough to drink yet! Alcohol! Bring on the alcohol!”). The words “sh*t” and “a*shole” appear in dialogue.”
Valkyria Revolution will be released on June 27th, 2017 in North America and June 30th, 2017 in Europe. A PS Vita version is also available, although will be digital only.
