It appears EA and DICE are busy working hard on the Star Wars Battlefront sequel coming out later this year. This is because no additional content updates are planned for the 2015 video game.
EA Star Wars tweeted out earlier today: “There are currently no plans to add any new content updates to Star Wars Battlefront.” If you want any new stuff added to the game, you’ll have to stick with it until the sequel is out later this year.
The last DLC pack came out back in December 2016 to coincide with the Rogue One movie. Sadly, everything planned for the game is now out so don’t expect to see anything new anymore.
The Battlefront sequel from EA will be out in late 2017 and it will have a single player campaign and content from more than just the original trilogy timeline. It should have more content than the aforementioned 2015 video game.
