Some new content is being released in an upcoming update for Titanfall 2. A fresh game mode is set to be included as well as some new maps.
Respawn announced on the official blog that Titanfall 2 is set to receive a new game mode called “Live Fire”. They describe it as a “lightning fast 6v6 Pilot only mode that brings competitive, close quarter combat to the forefront“.
It’s the best of five rounds and each round only lasts for around a minute long. It’s a fast and frantic mode as there are no respawns! You have to be fast and quick in order not to die all of the time.
Two new maps are also going to be added that are exclusive to the Live Fire game mode. They are called Stacks and Meadow. They are linear closed levels that are perfect for a mode like this.
Some other new maps are also going to be added to the other game modes in Titanfall 2. No release date for the new content has been announced but it’s supposed to be “coming soon“.
