The absurdly titled fighting game from equally unusually named developers French Bread (of Melty Blood fame) has been dated for a North American release. In less than four months, Playstation 3 owners will be able to try their fighting game prowess at Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late when it arrives in the USA.
Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late (known colloquially as UNiEL by its local fanbase) offers a roster of sixteen diverse characters of varying tropes. I have a particular soft spot for a fighting game where the resident grappler is considered to be among the top tier just because of his sheer number of options and damage off of basic hit-confirms. I’ve spent a couple dozen hours with the Japanese import version, learning some of the nuances of two cast members in particular (Waldstein and Akatsuki) and I certainly look forward to doing it all over again when Aksys localizes it in February 2015.
Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late is dated for a February 24th, 2015 release in North America. Gamestop is currently taking reservations on the title which has a reduced price of $39.99
