James Cameron has admitted publicly that one of his favorite guilty pleasures to watch is the first Resident Evil movie.
This might be surprising coming from an Academy Award winning director like Cameron. He’s responsible for directing two of the most successful movies of all time with Titanic and Avatar.
He admitted his love of the first Resident Evil movie on Reddit by saying: “I just like that film. You don’t have to defend a guilty pleasure.”
Cameron cast Michelle Rodriguez in Avatar saying that he always wanted to work with her. She starred in Resident Evil so that may be one reason why he liked the movie. Cameron has always been a fan of strong female action heroes.
