The Simpsons paid tribute to the video game Minecraft with its own couch gag.
The couch gag was called “Simscraft” with the opening somewhat animated into blocks much like you would see in Minecraft. The best part of the gag happens at the end. I’m not going to spoil it for you, but let’s just say Moe appears…
The creator of Minecraft, Markus “Notch” Persson, wrote on twitter the following:
I STILL feel a bit like it’s just this small game I made at home. It’s so weird to have all these things happen.
There is a saying that you’re not famous until you have been in The Simpsons. Pretty sure Minecraft is very famous now and its popularity isn’t going away anytime soon.
