Hellraid is an upcoming first-person shooter for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC from Techland that originally started being developed as a game mode for Dead Island before branching off into its own game. While it still doesn’t have a set release date, Techland has already announced a companion game for iOS known as Hellraid: The Escape.
Shortbreak Studios is in charge of developing this iOS game, along with Techland, that “expands the dark fantasy universe of Hellraid.” Unlike the console version, this will be an action-adventure game with the following features.
-Challenging puzzles – each one is a fresh and unique experience
-Fight demons with your cunning, not weapons
-Mysterious story set in the dark fantasy universe of Hellraid
-Graphics quality of PC and console games
-Free exploration and intuitive controls
-Game Center achievements and cloud saving
-Support for TV display via HDMI and AirPlay
-Universal app – once bought the game can be played on all your iDevices
-Free updates, no in-app purchases or pay-to-win elements
Hellraid: The Escape will arrive for iOS on May 15 for only $2.99. An announcement trailer has also been released for the game, which you can check out below:
