Oculus Rift has been the most prominent name in virtual reality for the last few years, with plenty of development kits sent around to developers. Now, in what seems like very coincidental timing after the announcement of Sony’s VR headset, Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 has been revealed at GDC.
This new development kit has a low persistance OLED display that will help with eliminating motion blur and judder, which are the two biggest causes of motion sickness when using the device. This latest kit brings new upgrades to the Oculus Rift, which you can read about in further detail on the Oculus Rift website here.
