This past week has brought us one of the most hyped games of the last couple years, Titanfall. While the game is out for PC, the majority of the talk for the game has come from the Xbox One version, perhaps due to some of the controversies. However, in an interview with Digital Foundry, lead engineer at Respawn Entertainment, Richard Baker, has revealed some very interesting details about the game’s development history.
Baker explained how Titanfall actually started as a PC exclusive, but eventually an Xbox One version was brought into the mix. Titanfall coming to Xbox One helped the PC version according to Baker as “it justified the effort in moving to DX11 and even 64-bit.” Look for our Titanfall review very soon to see what we thought of the new game.
