We learned last year that Nintendo was aiming to bring Game Boy Advance titles to the Wii U Virtual Console, but did not receive much information on it, until now through today’s Nintendo Direct. Satoru Iwata announced that this April, GBA titles will begin to be added to the Wii U Virtual Console.
Some games shown off in the US Nintendo Direct include: Metroid Fusion, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3. The Japanese Direct also included games like Advance Wars, Golden Sun, and F-Zero, so there are definitely plenty of games in the works.
