We’ve reported earlier that Demon’s Souls is indeed coming out to Europe and that Namco Bandai will be publishing. According to Namco Bandai’s press release today, PAL gamers will finally be able to journey through the Kingdom of Boletaria on June 25, 2010 (though they should be wary of invading black phantoms). The press release also indicates that the game will only come out as an exclusive European limited edition retail pack in the form of Demon’s Souls Black Phantom Edition. Similar to the North American Limited Edition, it will come with the complete soundtrack, a new artbook, and a new strategy guide all bundled inside a stylish red and black cover art. No details have been given about the price at this point.
Demon’s Souls has been praised by both gamers and critics alike for its unique game concepts, intense combat, as well as its fairly high level of challenge. Check out our review if you would like to know more.
UPDATE: The Limited Edition of Demon’s Souls will also be releasing in New Zealand and Australia.
