In recent weeks, multiple Marvel related video games have been removed from the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store, including games like X-Men Arcade and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. This has said to be due to expiring licensing agreements, and now another game has disappeared from both services, Marvel Super Hero Squad: Infinity Gauntlet.
This game that released in 2010 is based on the The Super Hero Squad Show and toy line that was popular among the younger age groups.
The listing on the PlayStation Store says that the game is now “disc only,” while Xbox Live Marketplace doesn’t specify anything outside of the description of the game. If you have any interest in getting this game, you may want to try to find it in retail sooner rather than later, as these games may become more scarce with the licensing agreements seemingly ending.
