Fans’ hopes that Star Wars 1313 would be revived in some way have been dashed once again as Disney no longer holds the rights to the “Star Wars 1313” name.
Star Wars 1313 was in development by LucasArts and was set to star Boba Fett. Sadly Disney shut LucasArts down and all future Star Wars games are to be made by EA. Some people hoped that the game might have been revived by EA, but this does not look like to be the case.
As reported by The Escapist, the trademark of “Star Wars 1313” has been “Abandoned because no Statement of Use or Extension Request timely filed after Notice of Allowance was issued.” In other words, Disney let the trademark go and it appears the game has been forgotten and buried.
Hopefully they consider to make another Boba Fett game in the future.
