Super Smash Bros. is one of the most anticipated upcoming titles, but we had no real confirmation on whether it was going to be releasing in 2014 or not. However, that has changed now as Masahiro Sakurai has given a release window for both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS version of Super Smash Bros.
Earlier today, we reported on the daily update for the game from the official website and Sakurai’s Miiverse. After posting today’s update on Miiverse, Sakurai added on in the comments by saying:
The new Super Smash Bros. games are expected to be released sometime in 2014. We’re still working on beefing them up even more so please stay tuned.
While this could always change, it is good to actually hear some confirmation on plans for release in 2014. This could definitely be a huge boost for Nintendo and the Wii U along with the upcoming Mario Kart.
