Total War: Rome II has undergone several free updates and fixes since the release and this upcoming Campaign Expansion, ‘Caesar In Gaul’ is the most substantial addition so far that will have players fighting Caesar’s Gallic War.
Players will be able to take control of one of four playable factions; the Gallic Arverni, the Germanic Suebi, the Belgic Nervii and Rome. The expanded map of Gaul and southern Britannia brings with it eighteen (18) provinces to take over, each bustling with resources, settlements, capitals and new environmental effects. Take control of faction leading avatars such as Caesar and Vercingetorix. The shorter campaign of war also means for more turns, and as the year moves on so does the seasons.
This is just the tip of the iceberg as ‘Caesar In Gaul’ also will provide fans with new mid-game challenge mechanics, a new historical battle, more unlocked factions for the main Total War: Rome II game, and new units. ‘Caesar In Gaul’ Campaign Expansion will be available December 12th, for $14.99/£9.99/€14.99.
