EA DICE have today released a patch for Battlefield 4’s servers, which is currently being rolled out across all platforms.
Today’s update is the fourth official update to the servers and aims to fix a lot of PC related bugs as well as some issues for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Two of the “common server crashes” bugs have been addressed for all platforms. This should allow for more stability when playing matches. DICE have asked gamers to give them feedback on whether or not the patch solves any issues for you. There are two main ways to do this; either via the Battlefield 4 Battlelog forums or the official Battlefield 4 Twitter page.
Other issues that are supposedly fixed by this update are for solely PC gamers.
-The “admin.say” command should now work properly (PC)
-The “vars.preset” command should now work better in conjunction with other vars settings (PC) (It is now easier for server admins to set a server preset)
-Fixed a bug in the queue system regarding GUID (PC)
-Fixed various minor bugs (PC)
