Yesterday, we brought the details of the Season Pass for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, but now we have some disappointing news for Wii U owners.
The press release detailing the Season Pass left out the Wii U, which led to Ubisoft being asked if this meant a lack of DLC for this system. Sadly, it was confirmed today that the Wii U version of the latest installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise would not be getting the DLC that other versions of the game will be receiving.
The previous game in the series, Assassin’s Creed 3, received the largest piece of DLC known as The Tyranny of King Washington at a later time than other consoles. However, it appears that Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag won’t be getting DLC at any point.
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will be released on October 29 for Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, with releases coming at launch for next gen consoles and PC on November 19.
