Microsoft has revealed that the Xbox One console may support keyboard and mouse sometime in the near future.
This was revealed by Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb during an interview with Newegg Arcade.
Here’s what he had to say about the Xbox One and possible keyboard and mouse support:
We’ll certainly have this great SDK for developers to do what they like. If that’s something they’re interested in doing, we’ll certainly help them do that. Certainly it’s possible, but we don’t have anything to announce at this time.
We’ll just have to wait and see if Microsoft truly does implement keyboard and mouse support or Xbox One in the future. If they do, playing RTS and FPS games could be more comfortable for some gamers.
