When you talk to the guy that sits on the barrel in Sapstrath Seahaven, he will tell you that there are six beasts scattered throughout the world where it carries the so-called “devil’s weapons”. If you happen to come across these beasts, it’s best to stay away unless you’re highly leveled.
By defeating the six beasts, you are qualified to challenge and face the true power of the Devil’s Arms. But first, it’s time to hunt these six beasts and get to know them shall we?
Schweiss
Schweiss can be found in the Xailan Woods roaming around near the entrance to the Xailen Woods Temple. When fighting this boss, it’s best to partner with someone that deals “fire” damage since that is Scweiss weakness.
Recommended Level: 60
Drops: Vicehein, the Howler (for Alvin)
Gatrega
Gatrega is a beast hound that can be found in southeast part of Xagut Floodmeadow. The boss is weak to “darkness”, so if you have a partner that can deal dark artes, it will help you take down the boss faster.
Recommended Level: 55
Drops: Tregatoria, the Bellowing Demon (for Elize)
Folzam
Folzam is a harpy that can be found in Bermia Gorge. If you have an Earth elemental artes, you can expect to deal a massive damage to this boss.
Recommended Level: 55
Drops: Folzex, The Grudge-Bearer (for Jude)
Melanbron
Melanbrom is a monster that loves lightning attacks. If you have an attack that deals water artes, use them. The boss is located on the same area where you fought Volt in Heliosborg Fortress (14th floor)
Recommended Level: 60
Drops: Melandetra, the Deathbringer (for Rowen)
Roparde
Roparde can be found in the Old Vicalle Mine. This boss randomly changes his weakness. It’s best if you keep checking his weakness by pressing L1.
Recommended Level: 60
Drops: Padvent, the Incantor (for Leia)
Dranzort
Dranzort is one of the secret bosses that is located in Tatalian Abyss, which is located north of Rusalle Highroad in Elympios. You must first solve the puzzle within the mines to reach him. As for the boss’ weakness, make sure you have an artes that can deal “wind” damage.
Recommended Level: 60
Drops: Dranduo, the Howling Beast (for Milla)

August 10, 2013 at 5:18 AMI fought and killed roparde at level 50, sure it was a tough battle, but I managed to make it through.

August 10, 2013 at 6:05 AMI also managed to kill folzam at level 50 (I hate flying monsters -_- especially bosses), though that tiger one killed me too quickly so I am going to level up some more. I can’t wait, in my next play through I will have uber strong weapons right at the start of the game.

August 10, 2013 at 8:47 PMMore information would be nice. I can’t figure out how to get to Dranzort because of how vague the description is. What mine puzzle? Which mine? Which area in the Tatalian abyss? Seriously. Don’t try to write a “guide” unless you actually know how.
Mark Fajardo
August 10, 2013 at 8:57 PMAt the end of the Tatalian Abyss, you will fight the boss. This guide will “show” you where to get them. The mini puzzle is easy to solve… and doesn’t require a full lengthy guide. If you got past the first floor, then that’s what you need to do to reach the boss. Trust me, it’s easy. The game will exactly explain you how to solve the puzzle.
Thanks!
Also, the dungeons are linear.

August 11, 2013 at 2:54 PMNice guide, I got to kill few of them ATM, sure is hard fighting them on hard mode. Lv60 and still easily get one hit ko by the cat boss with 5k Hp.
Have to keep constantly guard and keeping revive skill active :-(
But, that’s what challenge is all about so I’m not arguing.
(40k exp to get one level and only 2 GP per level isn’t fun anymore. Hardly grind for exp as well.
Though not gonna change mode to lower difficulty then hard mode. Takes away the fun and challenge if I did that. Can’t really do anything much as well on my first play thought.

August 11, 2013 at 8:33 PMHow did you get to the 14th floor to fight melobrom there’s guys getting g the stuff out of the way?
Mark Fajardo
August 11, 2013 at 8:39 PMYou need to clear out Heliosborg first. Once you do, go back where you fought Volt.

August 13, 2013 at 3:24 PMSo, I beat Folzam, not easily though, and now I am on my way through the Tatalian Abyss, but I went to fight Gatrega before, but he never appeared. I went to and from the Xagut Floodmeadows 5-6 times and he never showed up. Is there something I have to do to get him to show up? Also, I can’t seem to find the Old Vicalle Mines,

August 18, 2013 at 1:47 AMWhat are you suppose to do in Magnus Zero dungeon?
Crim
August 18, 2013 at 6:13 PMI killed Roparde on Moderate difficulty at level 33, The Tiger at level 38, Harpy at level 41, and Schweiss at level 49.
None of them are hard if you keep your distance and learn their fighting styles. Also once you master the Step Pivot every boss fight is 100x easier.
Shanpie
August 23, 2013 at 9:34 AMGatrega is easy enough to find if you know where to look, I stumbled upon him at Level 35 and got massacred, managed to escape with only Elize left alive. To get to Gatrega you have to start at the north part (near the boat from Xian Du), and zone one screen south. In this area there are two exits to the south, SE and SW, the SW exit leads to a small area on a cliff above the southern area. Gatrega is here.

May 9, 2014 at 4:59 PMHow do I get back to the 14th floor after I beat volt. The powers out and I can’t seem to find a way

May 27, 2015 at 7:45 PMKilled Folzam, Gatrega, and Roparde at lvl 47, 48, and 45. Raporde was easy imo and the hardest was Folzam but Gatrega killed me the most, well it was mainly becuse od that annoying back flip and dash attacks. Just eat a food that boosts your A. And P. Attack and defense. I used the fruit thinggy forgot the name and it gives 25% for A. And P. Attacks and defense. Making the fight way more manageable

November 30, 2015 at 7:22 PMdoes the difficulty level change the basic stats of the weapons???
