The team behind Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn released today the official benchmark program where players can test the performance of their PC and have the options to create their characters as well for later use.
Players who are picking up Final Fantasy XIV on PC or about to participate in the upcoming beta phase 4 of the game, you can use the character creation tool (the benchmark program) to create your characters that can be used in the beta test phase 4, early access and when the servers officially goes live this August 27th. Sure, there’s no date yet as to when the final beta phase will start but at least you can now create your characters to make sure you are ready whenever Square Enix decides to open the gate.
* The benchmark software is compatible with SLI for NVIDIA graphics cards. Furthermore, CrossFire for AMD graphics cards will be supported when updated drivers are made available. A separate announcement will be made regarding driver updates.
To download the program, head over to this site. Please make sure to keep your character data, that way you can use them later on the beta, early access or when the game goes live at the end of the month.
