A website dedicated to news concerning the Navy called the NavyTimes has posted an entire article about the disappointing restrictions of the Xbox One console.
The blog is similar to the military person that expressed his concerns about the Xbox One last week. The article is quite long, but it mentions things about the console that many people dislike about it.
One of the biggest concerns is the 24 hours internet check-in. But, one of the Navy’s biggest concerns is the fact that the Xbox One is only playable in 21 countries. They are disappointed you won’t be able to play the device if they get deployed in “Japan, Kuwait or Afghanistan”.
Still a Microsoft rep told the site that: “Military personnel will be able to take their Xbox One and play their games with them without an issue as long as the game has been ‘activated’ once in the U.S”. However, that doesn’t solve the 24 hour internet check-in…
The website also attacked Don Mattrick’s comments from last week about sticking with the Xbox 360 because it’s an offline device. An Xbox 360 console is great, but I’m sure people will get bored of it in a few year’s time when support for the system stops…
