Deep Silver has recently announced the release date for the highly anticipated first person shooter Metro Last Light.
Metro Last Light is the sequel to the highly impressive Metro 2033. Typically as with many games the release dates will be slightly different around the world. In Northern and Latin America Metro Last Light will be released on the 14th of May and in European countries (and most probably PAL regions too) on the 17th of May.
Since the release of 2033 the Metro franchise seemed to be left in limbo, before Deep Silver acquired the rights to the series and the sequel Metro Last Light. According to Koch Media who will be developing the game “The new release date is the ideal way to strike the balance between bringing the best out of Metro: Last Light and not keep the fans waiting longer than necessary.” Adding that “We won’t leave that time unexploited and will work closely together with 4A Games to make the game even better. It will receive all the attention it deserves.”
