Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been something of a turning point for Activision and their largely disliked ways. A number of pro-consumer choices were made and this has lead to largely positive reviews and considerable sales. However, some fans have expressed frustration at maps catering to a styles other than the series ever popular run and gun tactics. Showing that some things never change, rumors suggest DLC maps might address this complaint.
TheGamingRevolution, a YouTube channel that has posted a couple accurate Call of Duty leaks in the past, posted a video supposedly covering what the first map pack includes. The pack will include the following maps:
- Scrapyard (6v6)
- Wet Work (6v6)
- Terminal (6v6)
- Broadcast (6v6)
- Crash (6v6)
- Vacant (6v6)
- Rust (6v6 and Gunfight)
- Caged
- Farah
- Boneyard
- Hook
- +4 Ground War Maps
- +3 Gunfight Maps
Given a few of these maps were rumored in the past, making them, if nothing else, easy targets for possible rumors, it’s unlikely someone with a history of accurate leaks will just jump on the recent bandwagon. Still, I wouldn’t trust anything until it actually happens, as things constantly change. Like, every detail suggested Ashley J. Williams would be the other unknown guest character in Mortal Kombat 11, yet he was seemingly swapped out for Joker at the last second.
