For better or worse, PlayStation Plus has maintained consistently polarized months. Sometimes they’re so bad it’s hard to find anything positive to say, such as the original version of last month, and other times it reminds us how good the program can be. I don’t know if this month would fall in the latter category, though it’s certainly better than the last couple.
Next month players will be able to download WipEout Omega Collection and Sniper Elite 4.
WipEout Omega Collection is nothing new for PlayStation Plus. It includes WipEout HD, which was among the games offered as part of PlayStation Plus, the Fury expansion and WipEout 2048, another title given out when the Instant Game Collection launched on the PlayStation Vita. Despite the familiarity, we haven’t seen the collection offered and they’re solid games that offer plenty of thrills and things to do.
While this marks the first time Sniper Elite has appeared as a PlayStation Plus title, it’s a solid franchise that many enjoy. It’s a military shooter with a focus on sniping and some rather interesting missions. Certainly worth a go if you enjoy sniping or just want to play a different kind of shooter.
Both of these titles will be available on Aug. 6, 2019. This means you have a week to download last months games, assuming you haven’t already, so I’d act fast.
