Team 17 and developer Playtonic Games have announced and all new Yooka Laylee game called Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair.
This game is a bit different from the first one because most of the gameplay is played from a 2.5D perspective. The game will also have a 3D overworld for you to play as well.
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will be released later this year for the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Physical copies will also be available for the console versions of the game.

In this new platforming adventure hybrid, Yooka and Laylee must combine their abilities to take on a series of challenging and vibrant 2.5D levels and explore and solve puzzles in a beautiful 3D overworld. It’s on them to rescue Queen Phoebee’s Royal Beettalion Guard from each level, as they size up Capital B’s most dastardly challenge yet – the Impossible Lair.
