After a rather solid month, subscribers are up in arms about the massive drop in quality. For July, subscribers can pick up Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and Horizon Chase Zero.
While Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 might seem like a solid offer, as it’s fairly popular outside of the hardcore demographic, it isn’t much of a bonus. Currently, Konami is offering a lite version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 for free, which includes some offline modes, including myCLUB. When trying to find the actual differences between lite and full, players typically point to customization, story and a few other offline modes. So, it sounds like there is enough content but not as exciting as offering something like Killzone Shadow Fall.
As for Horizon Chase Turbo, it’s basically an enhanced port of Horizon Chase – World Tour, which itself was more of a mobile game. Beyond that, it’s a fairly standard racing game, where players start in last place and need to claw and fight their way to first. This is done by out driving, picking up collectibles and knowing the tracks. Even if it doesn’t sound like the most exciting game, it scored in the 88 range on Metacritic, meaning it is no slouch in terms of quality.
Both of these titles will be available next Tuesday, so make sure to snag June’s games if you haven’t already.
