At the E3 PC Gaming Show Frontier Developments announced the launch date of their upcoming animal orientated title Planet Zoo, as well as showing off in game footage.
Slated for launch on November 5th Planet Zoo aims to take what the team has learnt from the likes of the highly praised Planet Coaster, and Jurassic World Evolution, and go one step furrier. Not only did Frontier confirm the release date they also revealed that there will be a pre-release beta, so gamers won’t have to wait quite as long to get hands on.
Here’s how Frontier describe the game:
“Simulation Runs Wild in Planet Zoo. From the developers of Jurassic World Evolution (2018), Planet Coaster (2016) and Zoo Tycoon (2013) comes the ultimate zoo sim, featuring authentic living animals who think, feel and explore the world you create around them. Experience a globe-trotting campaign or let your imagination run wild in the freedom of Sandbox mode. Create unique habitats and vast landscapes, make big decisions and meaningful choices, and nurture your animals as you construct and manage the world’s wildest zoos. Build and manage a truly modern zoo where animal welfare and conservation comes first.”
The trailer below shows off how stunning the game is shaping up to be, with lighting, weather and animals all looking great!
