Marvelous Entertainment is pleased to announce today that Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal will launch for PlayStation 4 on January 18, 2019 and PC via Steam on January 22 n Europe and Australia.
The European version of Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal features both English and French text translation.
For those who are excited for the game, digital pre-orders are available now on the PlayStation Store for both the standard and Shinobi Rivals edition. In addition, it will include the “Beautiful Something Yukata Outfit” and “Blooming Again” PlayStation 4 theme as abonus. The outfit will be available for purchase separately four weeks after launch.
As for the Shinobi Rivals Edition, it will include the following content:
- Burst Girls Uniform
- Old Hanzo Uniform
- “Lovey Dovey” Diorama Pose
- Playable Character Yumi and Prologue Chapter (available for purchase separately the week following the game’s launch)
For the period of four weeks following its launch, players will be able to download “Cutie ♡ Melon” and “Cutie ♡ Peach” costumes free of charge. After the period ends, it will be available for puchase.

For the first time Senran Kagura fans will be able to experience the fated rivalry between Hanzo National Academy and Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy students in full 3D environments with newly improved character models and cut-scenes. Shortly after release additional DLC episodes will be released that will reveal new details of Yumi and Miyabi’s histories prior to meeting Asuka and Homura.
Marvelous Europe have also confirmed that a selection of downloadable content, such as Costumes, Hairstyles and Accessories, previously released for Senran Kagura: Estival Versus will also be compatible with Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal. Compatible content installed on the PlayStation 4 console will appear in the Dressing Room, allowing fans further customisation options for that personalized Senran Kagura experience.
