EA and DICE are pleased to announce today that Battlefield V has officially gone gold, meaning the game’s development is complete and is ready for release this November.
Battlefield V was originally scheduled to be released on October 19, but has been pushed back to November 19 to further polish the game. While many fans were disappointed with the announcement, DICE promises that the delay will further improve the game’s performance. To give thanks to the people that have waited, DICE will be giving out a special gift for those who will purchase Battlefield V at launch.
Available at launch, all players in Battlefield V will receive the Oscar Mike emblem and a helmet that can be used in the game.

Fans who were disappointed in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s lack in single-player experience, Battlefield V does indeed have a single-player mode. Players will be able to witness the human drama set against global combat in the single-player war stories. Expect to ski down Norweigan mountains as you battle for control of nuclear weapon supply lines, join the frontline with the French colonial troops or go behind enemy lines in North Africa. Pretty much, Battlefield V packs with single-player adventure drama at launch.
As far as multiplayer mode goes, the 64-player multiplayer makes a return. Players will be able to take on classic modes such as Conquest or squad up with friends in the cooperative Combined Arms.
Battlefield V will be released on November 20 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Origin. Check back with us near the release date for our review and coverage of the game. Still haven’t pre-ordered the game? Pre-order the game now to receive in-game bonuses!
