Dragon Ball FighterZ came out earlier this year and quickly became one of the most popular fighting games released all year. Fans will be happy to know that support for the game is continuing as three more characters will be joining the roster later this year.
As announced at EVO 2018, Bandai Namco has revealed that Cooler will be added to the roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ. Fans will remember him as being the older brother of Frieza as he appeared briefly in two older Dragon Ball Z movies.
Gamers will get to play as Cooler in his final form that looks pretty badass. Much like the other characters in the game, he will have all of his iconic moves. The character will be available in the game from August 8th, 2018.
The only thing missing from the character is his new Golden Form that debuted in the Dragon Ball Heroes anime that aired just a few weeks ago. The Golden Form is something his brother achieved first in the Dragon Ball Super movie called Resurrection F.
The other two characters coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ later this month are the base forms of both Goku and Vegeta. You will get to play through their iconic fight back in the Saiyan saga that aired almost two decades ago.
Goku will have his Kaio-ken attack while Vegeta can perform his Galick gun. Scenes from the Saiyan saga can be replicated by players if certain conditions have been met.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is out now for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms. A Nintendo Switch version of the game is coming out next month. Check out the trailer below for more details about the upcoming new DLC fighters.
