An open beta for the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming this August. This will give owners a chance to play some of the game’s main modes earlier than its release date.
While no specific release date for the beta was announced, Bandai Namco announced more details for the open beta on its official Twitter page.
The page posted the following information: ANNOUNCEMENT: The #NintendoSwitch Open Beta test for #DragonBallFighterZ is scheduled to start in August. The game will be released on September 28th with new local multiplayer features:
• 2v2 and 1v1 Match.
• Offline 6-player Party Match mode.
It’s great to see the Nintendo Switch will finally get Dragon Ball FighterZ nine months after it came out originally for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The open beta should give Switch owners an idea on how fast and enjoyable the game really is.
