Sony has now released the latest update for the PS4 console today. This takes the version number up to 5.55. That said, it sounds like the update does not add anything too large.
The only note that has been given to this new PS4 system update is the following: “This system software update improves system performance.”
You will need to download the update if you plan on going online or want to visit the PlayStation Store. Even though this update is small, Sony is bound to release a bigger one with more features later this year.
