If you love Overwatch, you’ll be happy to know that Activision Blizzard is planning to partner up with LEGO and other toy manufacturers to release action figure sets based on the popular FPS franchise.
As you may know already, Overwatch has one of the most creative characters ever made for an FPS, and they will all be translated into toy figurines in the near future.
As reported by Business Wire, The LEGO Group has agreed to release lots of Overwatch building sets at various price points in the near future. This means we should see both characters and buildings being a part of the LEGO sets.
At this stage, it sounds like only LEGO toys are being planned at the moment. It does not sound like we will be getting an actual Overwatch LEGO game anytime soon.
LEGO is not the only company making toys based on Overwatch either. Hasbro has also acquired the toy licensing rights to Overwatch too which can include its NERF line, games and more. It would be cool if Hasbro released action figures too, but we won’t know details until a later date.
