Former X-Men movie actor James Marsden has been cast in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie that will be out next year. Many people will remember Marsden as the original actor that played the Cyclops character.
The actor being involved in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie was reported by Variety. After no longer playing Cyclops in the X-Men movie series, others may remember him more for starring in the Westworld TV show.
The Sonic movie will be unique because it will use a combination of 3D animation as well as live action sequences. Movies such as Hop, Garfield and The Smurfs are just some of the other movies in the past that have used a mix of animated characters interacting with the real life world.
The movie is being directed by Jeff Fowler and will be releasing in November 2019. This will be the first time ever that Sonic will have his own movie. Previously, the character has only appeared in a long running comic book series as well as multiple cartoon shows.
