Fornite is slowly dominating the entire world with its mobile version releasing recently. Epic Games has now announced via Twitter that the game should be available worldwide to everyone on iOS. No invites are needed so you can just download the app from the App Store and get started!
Bear in mind, even though the game is available worldwide, Fortnite is not playable on older iOS hardware. The hardware that the game is currently playable on include the “iPhone SE, 6S, 7, 8, X; iPad Mini 4, Air 2, 2017, Pro.”
Sadly, the game will not work on older phones and tablets such as the “iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus; iPad Air, Mini 2, Mini 3, iPod Touch”. If you want to jump on the bandwagon, you’ll need a newer phone or tablet to see what the craze is all about.
Fornite Battle Royale took the world by storm when it released last year as a free to play video game on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Due to the game being free for everyone, it quickly overtook PUBG to be the most played and popular multiplayer video game in the world. The game is addictive mainly because there are 100 players on a map at each time and the last person that survives wins the game! Epic Games is updating the game constantly offering new game modes and other features to the map.
