In Ni no Kuni 2, there’s a device called Leafbook that Evan gets after meeting up with the Merchant in Cloudcoil Canyon early in the game. He then eventually learns that this Leafbook is the game’s social media alternative where people gossip at things or share information that is been going on in Ni no Kuni. But then, the whole Leafbook thing has its purpose and use for anyone who wants to 100% complete the game.
With Leafbook being like the Facebook in Ni no Kuni II, Evan can find out the events that have been happening around the world. Often times the Leafbook will get notifications where various NPCs post a picture of a monster or generally a citizen that has a concern on certain things. When they do post something in Leafbook, always consider this:
– Often times there are citizens that can be recruited for your Kingdom. Take a look at their locations on the photo and search for them
– They will hint of any sidequests that you can do
– It will give you general information and insights on what other NPCs think about certain events
