A new update has now been released for the PS4 exclusive racer Gran Turismo Sport. The new patch comes with 13 additional cars, one new track as well as an added VR Time Trial mode for gamers that own the PlayStation VR headset.
Sony posted more details of the patch via the PlayStation Blog. The VR Time Trials allow you to use the PlayStation VR headset to post fast time on the tracks of both Nurburgring and Suzuka. Obviously everything will be in VR so it will be an extra challenge.
The patch also includes 13 additional vehicles as posted below. There’s a healthy mix of old classics as well as some more modern cars listed too.
- Honda Raybrig Concept-GT
- Lexus Au Tom’s RC F
- Nissan Motul Autech GT-R
- Aston Martin DB11
- BMW M3 Sport Evolution
- Eckerts Rod & Custom Mach Forty
- Ford GT40 Mark I
- Gran Turismo Red Bull X2014 Standard
- Gran Turismo Red Bull X2014 Junior
- Lexus RC F GT3
- Mazda RX-7 GT-X (FC)
- Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R33)
- Nissan GT-R Nismo
One new track is also included in this week’s patch and it’s the Tsukuba Circuit. This is a fan favorite that GT fans will love to race on. Lastly, several more GT League events have been included as well as improvements for any Fanatec wheel users.
It’s worth mentioning all of the updates and DLC released for Gran Turimos Sport thus far have all been available for free. The game is much more fun now than when it was released back in October 2017.
