Thanks to the power of the new generation of consoles, many game developers have added a photo mode to lots of impressive looking video games. We’ve seen this with the likes of Sony’s first party titles such as Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Last of Us and more.
During an interview with Daily Star UK, God of War PS4’s director Cory Barlog expressed some interest in adding a photo mode into the game. It might be added in later via a patch update since Balrog wants the aforementioned Photo mode to be flawless.
He said the following about the photo feature: “It’s something that we’re definitely looking at. The photo mode has got to be something really cool. Like people have sort of raised the bar on photo mode. So, I’m not talking about it much right now because I think we need to do something really cool.”
The PS4 also allows users to easily share their favorite screenshots on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. One of my favorite photo modes is in Gran Turismo Sport as each car and track looks highly realistic. Anyway, we should know more about the photo mode sometime later this year.
God of War PS4 is released worldwide on April 20th, 2018. The game is exclusive to the PS4 and PS4 Pro consoles.
